Update: Based on the Film "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire"

Hey, everyone. This is A.J. Hakari, a friend of our gracious host Dom, who, as he's instructed me to write, is a beast not yet ready to rise again. His surgery was a success, but numerous complications have made recovery longer than expected. Due to nerve damage suffered during surgery, he is currently bedridden and cannot sit in his electric wheelchair for long without experiencing great pain. Thus, he hasn't been able to get on a computer and isn't sure when he will. But he does thank everyone who submitted contest entries, and he'll have me announce a winner very likely in the next week or so. Another update will follow from me if Dom isn't able to log on in the next couple of weeks. Dom thanks you all for your patience and hopes his female readers will leave messages of pity and faux flirtations.

    Why, yes I do seem to be a female of the species, but that said I do not know what form I took in the last life. Could have been anything from a rock to a cloud, I do know there was not an abundance of brains involved. I did expect you back already, we really need a "Dom fix" out here in Blogollopilis you know. Take care, stop harassing the nurses so they'll let you out of bed man!!

    I am very happy to hear that your surgery was a success, dude. However, I am not happy to hear of your pain in recovering. I really do hope you return soon. Once again, all of the very best to you my friend. Believe it or not you are an inspiration to me, and the JB gang. Oh and yeah, give them nurses hell!

    To Dom - sorry to hear the recovery is a slow and painful one but glad to see him in good spirits. Take care bud and can't wait for the best to rise. Oh no I did NOT just write that.

    Just a reminder Dom, tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Day so put something green on or risk peril from Irish imps. I am always wearing my green, or at least this avatar is. Green is a special, special color. It's the color of beer on March 17 and by the way that is also the day they celebrate the "Rattlesnake Round up in Sweetwater, Texas every year and they are NOT green. Frogs are green, slime can be green and money of course is green (the good kind is) not the change. Gatorade, pickles, parakeets...I could go on all day about the greatness of green. Get better quick!!

    Hey Dom, just got back from "The Man Cave" Geof gave a great chuckle with a reply to a scam email sent to him, hell-arious! Speaking of Hell-arious, I dreamed last night that I was lost at an airport and was too dumb to realize that I was dreaming, so I was unable to use my magic powers of Lucid Dreaming to "edit" my dream. Hope this comment finds you getting better, we miss your wit and wisdom, guy!

    OMG! I just discovered that you can make all kinds of crafty stuff from an old man's necktie! Of course you have to get the necktie off the old guy first, and some of them are pretty tough and others are really mean. But once your get the necktie off 'em you can cut it up (the necktie)and make stuff like fabric bracelets and ton's of other things!

    Hope this finds you feeling better, by the way...do you wear neckties?
